There’s a growing amount of one day festivals cropping up across the UK, and Leeds certainly isn’t the last to catch on to the trend. Slam Dunk North and Ghostfest are amongst the festivals that will be taking place this summer, but the city’s less heavy approach to new music is Live at Leeds.

Taking place at venues across the city, it seems as though the festival could be a stretch on the legs – but with some brilliant upcoming artists to make up for it.

The bigger names at this years festival include: James Blake, The Futureheads, Frightened Rabbit, Pulled Apart By Horses and headliner of this year’s NME radar tour Anna Calvi.

These names aren’t what the festival sells on, though. There are some top quality bands and artists on this line-up earlier on in the day. Sound-RevolutionĀ suggests you check out: Fight Like Apes, The Chapman Family, ex-Bloc Party and yourcodenameis:milo outfit Young Legionnaire, Stagecoach, Tribes, Mazes and Paper Crows.
